So, I went to the doctor for routine bloodwork, and results came back that I’m almost to the pre diabetes level! I was kind of taken aback, I mean I eat pretty well, no pasta, bread or potatoes (well rarely)… but, my downfall is sweets. I don’t eat them on a daily basis, but I admit to little binge fests. I’ll bake cookies once a month and our family pretty much eats them all within 2 days, or if we have birthday cake in the house guess what’s for breakfast? I don’t really see how this could make my A1C levels that high, but I’m taking it seriously and cutting out sweets. I suppose it’ll help me drop the last few pounds of baby weight too so it’s a good excuse to be really good.
A few months ago I designed these art prints, I’m thinking about framing them so at least I can daydream about cookies, cupcakes and donuts.
