Well… I decided that I’m ready to put my interior design license to good use! It’s time to help make the world a cuter place by offering affordable room designs. Whenever I’m working on designing a space, I put together a product collage with the pieces I’m planning on using. It helps you to visualize what everything will look like once it comes together. And now I’d like to offer that to you as well! Please click the collage below or visit the “Room Designs” page to read more about what’s included. I’d love to hear any questions or comments you might have about these services so send me an email. : )
Archives For cute & co.
So I guess I have officially entered the “nesting phase” of pregnancy. Last week I went a little crazy throwing things out and organizing…crazy may be putting it lightly seeing as though I could barely get out of bed one morning after a day of this so called nesting. I started under the sink… and then it just waterfalled into the utility room, then the junk drawer, to the rest of the kitchen cabinets and I finished up in my closet. I must admit it’s nice to be able to close drawers in the kitchen without something getting stuck, and saves seconds of my day not picking up the 50 kid cups that fall out every time I open up a cabinet. So here are a few photos of organized kitchens that might help inspire you too.
And in case you need to make your life easier… these may help!
If this interior isn’t inviting, I don’t know what is. I saw it featured on House of Turquoise and had to share it too. It’s actually just a guest house but this color palette would be perfect for everyday life. I love the horizontal planking, chandelier and pale blue walls. Perfection! Kudos to the designer, Tillman Long Interiors and photographer, Emily Followill.
Perfect furniture grouping for a loft, right?
I’m a sucker for long necklaces, so naturally I love the Haley. It’s neutral, so wearable with tons of stuff, and it also has the option to be worn short!
This statement piece would be amaze over a long black dress but I could also see it worn under a plain button down and jeans.
I love a good bib necklace. The colors are so unique and unexpected and make for a fresh piece.
This assortment of pieces piqued my interest when browsing through the new line. Not sure how often I’d wear the Peacock Earrings but I sure do love the colors and that you can convert them to studs. The Twila Drops, Adelina Cuff, Eden Ring, Ivie Drops, Portia Bracelet and Isla Drops would all be great everyday accessories.
The Trinity Pendant comes with TWO chains… wear it long, wear it short or wear BOTH… genius.
The Sutton Necklace is by far my favorite piece of the fall line. You can wear it countless ways. I’m obsessed with how you can remove strands, wear it different lengths, etc. It gives you endless looks that are all cute. Check out the video to see it in action. I’ll instagram a pic of it when I get it next week!
I’m lucky enough to run a photography business with my best friend Chrissy… and one of the many perks is that we’re able to take photos of each others’ family milestones. Chrissy took these and I just adore Amelia in the photos, you can tell that she’s so excited to meet her little sister, as are we!
Browsing for all of those summer entertaining photos got me in a shopping mood. I found these cute items that would be perfect for an outdoor dinner party.
Italian Beach Umbrella $120 | Watermelon Basket $39 | Outdoor White Chair $90
Porcelain Bell Windchime $90 | Lanterns $79 | Driftwood Charger Two for $20
Ceramic Stool $179 | Glass Teardrop Tank $20 | Wall Planters $69
Last week on the 4th I had the most pleasant evening sitting outside at my Aunt’s house on the river. It was the perfect summer evening, with a great breeze and minimal no-see-ums biting. : ) It got me thinking about outdoor dining and picturing the perfect outdoor dining spot.
I usually stop in the studio at least once a week so I started snapping a quick belly pic on the way in our out… first one is 17 weeks, last one is 24 weeks. : ) Follow me on IG to stay in the loop.
I have a Jenny Lind changing table, but after Amelia was potty trained I moved it to the studio for our clients to use during newborn sessions. We use it there frequently so I decided it was a good excuse to look for a new one for the baby’s room. I didn’t want to spend money on just a changing table but it’s hard finding something with similar dimensions. I came across this mirrored console table and decided to get it since it was 30% off and free shipping for a limited time. It arrived yesterday and it’s so so cute. The pad hangs off a little bit but I just scooted it an inch from the wall and it’s fine. The drawers are perfect for hiding diapers, powder, lotion, receiving blankets, etc. Aaaand when she is finally potty trained I can use it in any room of the house, perfecto!
