So I like big purses… and up until now I’ve just had all of my random belongings thrown inside. It gets pretty annoying having to take everything out piece-by-piece until I find what I’m looking for, say my lip gloss, a hair tie or sunglasses. I decided action needed to be taken and planned to devise a system. The solution? Bags within bags. Sounds easy enough right?
A wallet that can also be a wrislet is perfect for when you need to run into the post office, when you need money but not your entire purse. I don’t care what anyone says, I love me some Vera Bradley — plenty of compartments, durable, colorful and easy to spot in a deep purse! This wallet is big enough that I can zip up my keys and phone within it, making it like a little clutch.
Every woman’s purse has an assortment of cosmetics, hence the cosmetic pouch or bag. I keep things like hand sanitizer, lotion, hair ties, lip gloss, etc. within it and it’s easy to pull it out when I need access to any of these items, because usually when you need a brush you’re gonna need some lip gloss!
Another little bag (thanks to the free gifts from Estee Lauder) contains office type materials… a case for business cards, little notepad and pen and a mini accordion book of some family photos. I also stash a little ear bud set in there mainly in case Amelia wants to play a game on my phone and I don’t want to annoy everyone around me with Dora the Explorer music.
I also keep a little coupon case in my bag where I file receipts, gift cards or gift certificates and coupons. If only I could remember to use coupons before they expire, I’d be really efficient.
So there you have it, bags within bags… simple, effective and organized!
